Five-Day, Phase 2 Sample Instruction Outline
Student must complete
Phase 1 Training and have practical endoscope repair experience.
Once skill level is determined, a program similar to this outline
will be developed.

1. Review previous day's activity.
2. When and where to change to a lens system.
3. Student practices optical component changes.
4. How to rebuild an objective. |

1. Review previous day's activity.
2. Student rebuilds objective.
3. How to build an objective from components.
4. How to integrate a lens in a different lens system, with
practice. |
day 4 |
1. Review previous day's activity.
2. Fiberoptic illumination.
3. How to rebuild an endoscope, with practice.
4. How to determine spacer dimension. |
day 5 |
1. Review previous day's activity.
2. How to rebuild housings.
3. How to adjusting field-of-view and its importance.
4. Important specifications for endoscopes and procedures.
5. Course summary and critique. |
A model training plan with techniques necessary to do effective
repairs, Phase 2 requires bench experience. Some topics covered
may or may not be completed depending on the student's skill
level.
Program Costs
Training Rate: $125 per hour, 8-hour minimum
Note: Training conducted at customer's location.
Customer
provides scopes for repair at sessions.
Endoscopes
repaired during training are subject to an additional fee.
Travel
and living expenses additional and charged at cost, with mileage
charged at $0.50 per mile.
Customers
can arrange travel and lodging direct billing.
Terms: Advance payment of 50% for contracted hourly fees.
Prepaid round-trip airfare with
lodgings for trainer.
Net 10-day payment for balance of
charges.
